Some 'bring RP to life' suggestions :)

There are items (mundane items) that can really help bring RP to life. Things that can be sold by merchants, carried, used and picked up. Items that can be used rather than emote really spark things into a whole new level..

Suggestions for items:
Fishing poles
candles
fires
fires with cooking food (Spits)
bar stools *can be made to be used as weapons as well as put down to sit on)
Broken bottles that can be held and used as weapons
Bedrolls can be made to be put down as a placable and sat on, later picked up
tents



A laying down, and laying injured emote would be very cool too. Continuous , not momentary.

Fishing poles and worms available in Port Avanthyr. Though I can't get that to work.
Flint is also available for making fires but again, I don't know how to get that to work either.
I believe there's a post about seating somewhere. Apparently that's a complicated issue because of all the different character heights.
Tents are posted somewhere too, they don't work because they can't be placed on inclines without significant clipping issues. I would assume bedrolls would do the same but I'm not sure.

Candles and broken bottles sound cool though.

Oh, and ".back" to lay down continuous.

Use .collapse to fall to your knees and fall back, but make sure you type .back real fast right after so it looks cool.

fishing Poles - exist, and you can fish in Sundren
candles - um, a deployable candle? I don't really see that one
fires - not going to happen, I don't want it being used on an uneven surface and clipping, I also can't devise any system to restart effects every time a player enters an area so they see a flame (another obsidian bug)

Bar stools destructable? We don't really do that for a lot of obvious reasons, I guess it could be once per server reset... but deployable stools? again no for the reasons above (mostly the uneven surface)

broken bottles... guess that would have to be a custom item

bed rolls are same as bar stools etc, same for tents. There are a lot of inherit problems letting players spawn objects like that. And a lot of ways people can abuse it.
