Not that I personally mind one way or another - I think it adds an element of uncertainty (and I say this after three trips to the FoeN in that one area) And if I come across pissy it's because I may be, a little, and I apologize in advance.
I've gotten accused in OOC chatter of having "caused the death" of a group of PCs 3 times. While I will claim partial responsibility for the first of these (they did call me to "come quick" and that was when I entered the sewers when I mightnot have otherwise, and I sort of rushed in for IC reasons) - I don't even remember the second time, and they were already dead when I came across them the third time. I sort of take exception to this sort of thing - I can't smell who is in what area and which levels they are, after all - and would call it bad luck in a game (seeing how I died myself on that first time), but apparently this is a very serious issue to some and must be addressed.
What's my point you ask? Here goes.
Apparently every player who has the boss quest (in this case it's the Pest Control Part II one, not sure about others) will spawn a boss - no matter that one is already there.
Perhaps it's possible to check for a boss present before spawning another?
