  • Multiple Room Keys

I've thought about this one for a little bit now, but is there anyway you can think of that multiple keys for the same room could be sold when you rent a room? Or a way to duplicate a key if you wanted someone who you RP with on a regular basis but is in a different timezone be able to access the room?

I don't know how feasible it is, but if you don't ask you'll never know

It's feasible but the amount it would complicate the inn system needlessly is great.

I'll put it into my list of things to try out once I spend some more time practicing with the toolset, If I can make it work would you be willing to implement it? I know that the Dev staff is really overbooked which is why I've told Sean I'm going to try to learn the toolset so I can lend a hand. I imagine that all it would take is

      1) make the keys tradable
      2) charge double ( or triple ) the amount for keys based on how many you ask for from the inn keeper
      3) Change the innkeeper's dialogue to allow for the purchase of multiple keys

In anycase I'll put this one in my "feasible" column and work on it when I have time, after of course I learn the toolset, and help Sean with his backlog

That is of course if you are willing to let me anyway

Thanks for the response Lord and Master

It's not a matter of learning a toolset, it's the fact that I made that entire inn system from the ground up and it makes heavy use of databasing. Tracking keys on multiple players needlessly complicates it. It's just a matter of work vs benefit.

Oh I see, well not really too hard to make sure that people online who need a room together, can arrange it. RP triumphs over game mechanics
