Ive noticed for a time now and im sure most dont care or find it to be a big deal...In fact it really isnt a big deal, but the month and days in Sundren stay the same.

Is there any way that we can get new months which seasons correspond with. This could be an easier way for folks of Sundren to put memory to a certain day or season,or a date in which to meet for that important gathering.

Just something i noticed and thought i would address while i had the thought in my head.

Not going to happen, too many considerations to take into effect for seasons, and thusly we will never actually save the ingame time.

Is that the same for months and days?

Basically, yes. If we did that then we'd have to advance the year for the server very frequently which would be inconsistent with how much we intend for time to pass.

To do that realistically Hano would be about 102 year old by now

We should all play elves. Problem solved.

Who says we don't? Maybe all the races are actually subraces of a special type of elf that Sean coded into the game.

                Characters:
Peridan Twilight, one-eyed dog of the Legion, deceased.

                  All... Elves? *Shudders.*

Just going off the SRD, there are plenty of races that can live to 200+ years. Hin can live exactly that long as the absolute maximum. Dwarves to 450. Gnomes to 500. Yes, elves can hit 750 by the same standards. Still, there are a lot of long-lived races out there. A dwarf can hit a hundred and fifty years and still carve a bloody swathe across the battlefield.

Radiance: I think king Bruenor of the Drizzt books was 350 years old when he first made his appearance in the books so that would put him around ~400 years old in the latter years of the saga and he still kicks orc butt!
150 years old is like dwarf in his mid-twenties >_>

But yeah, one idea how to have a small fun seasonal changes would be to simply change the rain to snowing when it's winter and edit the texts a bit like "The sun shines brightly from the clear cold sky", somehow switch between scripts of summer and winter manually, which would be done prolly twice a year (fall and spring, who needs those anyway pfft).

*Shrugs* Just giving ideas, in NWN1 that seemed to work nicely.

Oh and don't forget the legendary white-bearded, red-dressing dwarf fat riding a sleigh with a bunch gorgons of to give us awesome presents when it's christmas!

                    Cer'wyïl Durothil - Mix-breed noble elf
                    Tredonael - The shapeshifter
Glagnur Frostfury - The arctic dwarf barbarian
Calewyn Gil'Fang - Wood elven archer
Jaegor Ursablad - The wychlaran knight from Rashemen
