    color tint

    couldn't find this so i think it's a new topic...

    how difficult is it to allow players to tint their own gear? i've seen a game where you could buy "paint" from a merchant and tint your equipment. just thought it'd be a cool (and easy?) way to bring customization and personality to each character.

    for example, i see way too many warriors in red plate mail (aka. Savage Plate) and i'm sure some people might enjoy color-theming their character. just a suggestion in case it hasn't been brought up yet.
    characters:
    Jos'iah Ithildurin - Semper, a guardian of Haldemar. "One should always be faithful"
    Elijah - Warrior Mage and Legionairre of Sundren. "My axe and my magic will cleave you!"
    Duskthorne - Bounty Hunter. "Every land needs a masked man to do the dirty work for them" (personal heroes: The Knight of the Flying Rodent and The Monk of the Arachnid Order)

    I'd like this sort of thing, excepting of course that I'd probably blow all of my money on getting a set of colors I'm happy with.

      A couple of weeks ago someone posted a thread called "Tired of everyone looking the same."
      I believe it was determined that such a modification would require an external plug-in which was not compatible with Sundren.

      Just a quick answer to your question, but a good idea nonetheless.

          I recall this being brought up more than once, but the answer is always something akin to "We would if we could, but we can't", I think.
