All this being said.. you should be made aware of a fact.
Haks containing altered faces/hairstyles/bodyphenotypes are loaded after character creation for Multiplayer Modules.
Haks containing altered faces/hairstyles/bodyphenotypes are loaded before character creation for Local Modules.
Meaning even if we added them, the process of actually allowing you to choose them for your PC's at Character Creation is a long and complicated event which would minimally require a DM to verify your PC before it was allowed on the server.
We want simplicity not complexity here.
Why is it like this? Go ask Obsidian. There about 3 weeks behind on the patch in which they claimed this was fixed.
Until Obsidian does their bit, there is really nothing we can do for you.

I don't think elves of any sort get a lot of love in NWN2. They're described as being all fair and unearthly beautiful-like. But in truth, to me, most of the models look like their head was dehydrated.

I'm almost sure most of you have read of the Head of Vecna adventure, but if you haven't here's a link, but why I'm posting it here is near the very bottom of the page is a list of 250 things the other is never allowed to do in an PnP RPG game again, number 224 is why it's here.
P.S. if you don't get nostalgic for PnP games after reading that 250 list, call 911, you are missing a pulse

Hey, I'm a mutt!
Actually, they have proven scientifically that diverse ethnicity is considered more beautiful than purity. I have to find that study somewhere, but it was pretty convincing.
Beans is a strongheart and he is dang fugly, but that is just perfect for the character. I think Logan the Foul is a strongheart also.
Personally I think the creepiest face is one of the humans that looks like he is perpetually about to cry. He looks all shriveled up and freaky like an Edvard Munch character.
OK, this thread is now about ugly portraits in general!

Hell yes, half-elves are fugly. Considering they're supposed to be humans with elven features (or, well, vice versa), the game really doesn't do them justice. It took me about half an hour to create Wings' face and she only looks half decent because her "girth" was turned to the skinniest and her eyes are a nice blue. It's surprising how different a face could look with different eye colour and hair type, so tinker around a bit more. However, in game it tends to matter less because of the various headgear you can put on. If all else fails, you can always stick on a helmet and hide your ugly mug.
Incidentally, I think strongheart hins are also pretty ugly (males AND females), which is sad because I like them more than lightfoot.

I personally think the mutts look appropriately ugly.
Who says half breeds are pretty? If they were, would they be discriminated against? Rotten Mutts.

I don't like how the wild elves look, and wood elves are pretty in my opinion
Oh, and half-elves suck!! :P

The Half Elven female portraits aren't that bad. I could try palying a female character, which I did in pen and paper I think only once. It would be a challenge.
And yes, Wild Elves have the best portraits.

I personally play a very skinny ugly wood elf ex-slave ranger, but I haven't played him for a while. Wood elves are pretty ugly too actually. I like wild elves though, very feral looking and cute and fuzzy.

Your right, I should of named it Half Elven Portraits. If I could change it I would. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry, I was treating this topic as though it regarded half-elves in general. This really should just be a discussion of portraits.
Yes, they are freakin ugly I agree.

Yeah, I was gonna say, half elves have their own place in role play, which some people may feel like taking advantage of. They have their advantages and disadvantages, which they pull from each side of their heritages, which is what you'd expect.

Hmm... When I posted this I tought I was posting it for a Role Playing server. I have no problem with a half elf's traits, just the way the pictures look.
I don't really play a race based on traits or bonuses, I happen to have a good story that fits a half elf, a half drow would be better.
