Sundren Character Creator

Okay, I did a search and didn't find any topics on this: I was curious about a character creator that is designed solely for Sundren.

Reason being is that on Sundren there are 1) some really sweet prestige classes, 2) some really sweet spells, and 3) some really sweet feats that would be cool to play around with.

This would help immensely with spontaneous casting classes, whose spell choice is very, very, very important because there is no way to lose levels on this server. *points down to his signature about his lovely sorceress* And also for dummies like me who choose a wrong feat every now and then.

Wierd. I was just thinking about this, sort of. I was gonna ask Sean to make Sundren files available, such as the files for the PRC's, feats, and spells so that we could download them and apply them to our own testing modules (since every powergamer has one).

But this would work too, if anyone was willing to build it. It would be mighty helpful.

You already can my friends. You have access to everything but the scripts.

Create a new module and add the tlk and the haks to it. Voila. You have a Module that will let you test builds. The custom feats will be there, spells, etc. The only thing you won't be able to do is test how they work in combat.

You won't be able to test any of the CUSTOM prcs, feats or spells in combat. I should have been more clear. None of the custom feats, spells, or prcs special abilities will actually function. You can select them, but they are dead weight.

You have to have the scripts to make them work, and scripts are like plugins, proprietary info.

A person can steal areas, haks, vfxs, appearances, creatures, etc.
The only thing a person cannot take from a server is its plugins, database, and scripts. Once they go out.. any person with a server could make an exact duplicate of Sundren.

If the feats wont function then you only get half the deal, the whole point of building a character up in your own module is to test out what works like to see if a Warlocks damage reduction stacks with a barbarians or if a favored souls energy resistance stacks with the energy resistance feats.

While yes you can make your own module to see what all the feats are and check out the new spells none of them would work properly so you would have no idea if they'd work in-game to your advantage.

...me powergame *COUGH* no never I just er... found out from a friend... yeah a friend! It was my friend who made the lvl 40 Paragon Treefolk Cleric with an Ecl of 64 NOT ME!... Honest... Oh who am I kidding that character took fken nine hours of scribbling on bits of paper I WANT CREDIT.
