Kamas

I have been in the toolset abit lately.
Making new weapons and armors.
I found that kamas had a very limited choices of appearance, so I found this: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view....Detail&id=103

Thoughts?

Do Kamas get affected by the new mod thingy where weapons are held backward (like daggers and stuff). If so, they'd look a bit weird. If not, they look pretty cool!

I do beleve only daggers are reversed, not kamas.

I like the look of those eastern weapons.
It would fit perfectly for a monk to be able to wield some of them as "kamas" because traditional kobudo concists of a series of weapons: Sai, Nunchakus, Tonfa, Kama, Bo/Jo and To. I think that kobudo is most fitting for eastern-style monks too.

Of the group To, meaning katana, is of course not very monkish weapon, anyone who wielded those were the samurai and ronin, but all the others are farm tools used by the common folk and unarmed monks to fight off tyranny.

For Sai and Tonfa the damage should be primarily bludgeoning but other than that, they're at least as quick to wield as kamas and fit for the monk's "special weapon list".

If they were added, I would certainly love to make eastern style monk who wields double Tonfas or Sai heh.

Don't forget the other weapons that lack any sort of appearance variation. Obsidian pretty much ignored anything that wasn't a sword or some variation of a sword. Maces and morningstars I know were both left in the cold, despite being the preferred weapons of clerics.

There's a couple of other mace packs in the vault, but this is the only one that offers some appropriately awesome models. Apparently no one cares about morningstars.
