  • area's and maps.

i noticed saulus said on another thread they were making more higher level area's. and some ppl wondered about the lower level area's.

my suggestion is that maybe have a compation to create and design complete working area's for a veriaty of level ranges.

i understand there has to be alimit to how creative we get. you cant have hugh demon dungeons from hell or massive castles placed anywere. it would have to be tie into the sunfren story and region.

but saulus or a dm could give us a list of what types of monster and stuructures are allowed and for what level range.

this would also give the you more time to work on your own projects for sundren and plot area's. and also make the players feel like a part of the game development.

of course your dms would have to test the area's make sure its balanced and not to easy. (never let it be said sundren allows the adventures have an easy time)

i cant really think of more to add. maybe soem one else could add some suggestions.

If someone wishes to build for us, have them fill out the application.

A competition would cause hurt felings and also require a developer with the right skills to judge it. As fas as I know only Xeraph, Xanserleo, and Saulus are active now, each of which is crazy busy.

I was wondering what happened to Xanderleo lol, haven't seen him around for awhile. Although, I recently began tooling around with the toolset, and I have to say pretty much a whole saturday was gone before I knew it lol.

Well first of all, assuming that we have no plan for level ranges is a big mistake. There are areas for each level range out there in Sundren. Period. End of story. If you can't find them, then look harder. There are more coming, but when we have a very small workforce composed of volunteers, it's out of our hands to speed things up.

And due to how much work we put into our areas we have strict requirements... if someone wants to develop areas then they can send us an application, check our jobs page.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
