One thing that has driven me nuts about NWN2 is the fact that most of the random helmets you aquire just dont seem to go with the armor you are wearing. It just doesnt seem to do your character justice when your wearing decent looking armor then have to put on a pink thing that has feathers coming out of it on your head just to get the added bonus. I have been taking the time lately to just go through some of the armors in the toolset and add on helmets that are compatable with the armor. I know Im probly wasting my time doing it, but if any of you guys feel the same way I do im willing take the time to do it. So what im saying is get rid of the helmets, and just add them to the Armor at least until there is a system of crafting that allows you to change the appearance ingame.

Well we'd love to have someone onboard to work on stuff. Know anyone who can seriously dedicate some time to the server? I only ask cause we're understaffed and overworked on this side of the server.

Well ive never realy done anything with the toolset but tinker with weapons and armor, I guess I could fill up a treasure chest full of custom made goodies. Keeping them reasonable of course, no +100 to damage stuff, and send it to somebody.

Didn't we have a gay adventurer, and it became really contoversial and someone got in trouble over it, for bringing political issues into the game world?Pyras: Red Wizard of Thay, High Arcanist of Illusion, Master of the Enclave's Knight Commander.

Just don't remove my Templer Helm from the game, it works for my character.
In regards to the gay coments. it is political and confrontational and I don't want to see people becoming persecuted in game (or forums) for something like that. It can come close to cyberbullying. So just don't do it.Aidan Saevalis - Priest of Tyr, Warpriest in training.

I've offered my time before for item creation sean. If you still need someone who can devote ten to fifteen hours a week doing items PM me.
As to having helms only on Armours well I can understand the frustration of having funny looking helms not matching your armour. However you have to remember helms are magic items in themselves, so having them seperate is the only logical choice. What if I have a character that wants to wear a giant spiked metal helm but only wears studded leather armour? In my opinion it really is more trouble then it is worth, and the answer really would be just being patient as more diverse items get created and added to stores/loot tables.Current Player Of: Aden Astartes, Orren Baneshollow, Amnius, Kord Illumen and Lotho

Ok I was joking before but seriously are you saying that being gay is confrontational?Originally posted by Noraax View Postit is political and confrontational
I hope I am misunderstanding.
Anyway I apologise for jacking this thread with irrelevance. Lets just end this divergence.Peppington Merrifefferlis - Most learned scholar of the fine exalted institution that is Candlekeep, centre of all learning that is Arcane and magical in nature. Also loves cats.

Anyway on to the helm thing.
I can really see what you are saying about the helms but I have to agree with Gairun that its more trouble than its worth (currently). This kind of thing is icing when there is still a cake to bake.Peppington Merrifefferlis - Most learned scholar of the fine exalted institution that is Candlekeep, centre of all learning that is Arcane and magical in nature. You could always just not wear a helmet, but putting a helm built into the armor isn't going to solve any problems, then no one would be able to take the helmet off without removing their armor. Unless there is some way of taking the helmet on and off when its built into the armor appearances I doubt too many will like it. What are you going to do if a guard tells you to remove you helmet.. strip right there where you are?
