Couldn't someone just start an official backpatting thread?

Keeping a subforum like that erect would take constant attention to careful ego-stroking. Those not touched by congratulatory commentary might also find themselves feeling deflated; even despondent at their inability to penetrate player social circles.

If proper care isn't taken, such a forum could lead to uncontrolled explosions of emotion that moderators might not want to touch, much less be responsible for mopping up.

I honestly don't care that much. To do that, I would have to read up on this whole Rep System, and I'd rather be online, in the game. But a Kudos Forum... its right there! Easy access, a warm feeling, and a place that makes everyone feel like one big family.
