  • Low to Mid Boss Drops

I've just noticed something about the boss drops from Spittlefist to Orcs. Orcs beeing the farthest I've seen yet.

Almost all the items are only for a warrior.
    Except the bone dagger.

    Nothing for a wizard.
    Nothing for a rogue.
Nothing a halfling or Gnome can use.

Just seems to make things harder on the ones that start off weak at lower levels. Plus those that can't use them have to trade in about four items to get something that they can make use of. Just something I've noticed. I know that they are monsters and use warrior items.

As a wizard, I do not expect orcs to have a staff or any other valuable trinkets for casters. Maybe you should try the necromancers at the necropolis.
Zorn Terinus - the arcane scientist
Drogan Ebonshield - the dwarven mercenary

There is a lot of rogue gear to buy. As time progresses, each class will have gear out there for it m sure. This has been stated a bunch of times before and you need to please be patient with it.
Sacrifice everything as the final darkness falls... in the end, all that awaits you is death. Only then will you understand - you've been following in my footsteps all along.
So come then, you heroes! Come in all your power and glory! For in the final hour, all must serve the one... true... king.

well, mid to high bosses don't drop ANYTHING, so consider yourself lucky
And they do drop stuff for casters and rogues don't they?
goathead staff, bone jerkin/links, juju knife as kalthuzad said, ol' mister stabby is a personal favourite and dwarven rogues/muggers can always use the mossclaw hacker.
The Talona's Muckspear (I think it's called) is good for elves too...

wait, this is all just advice for metagaming isn't it :S

Just get the Enclave to make you stuff. I imagine after a few runs into the goblin caves you have more than enough for the top limits of what the Enclave can make.

Low to Mid Level, I was taking about up to Orcs. Not Necro or Smugglers Caves...

...those that can't use them have to trade in about four items to coin to get something that they can make use of. While the warrior can just pick it up after one run and is good to go.

The Juju Knife I listed as the one item. The rest is unusable to those I listed.

I am patient, but doesn't mean it shouldn't be said. I never make any suggestion post expecting a change (If the staff likes the idea) for months.

*laughs at the post that said, "trade in four or so items to buy rogue gear."

Apparently you haven't seen the new rogue gear. More like trading in forty pieces to get one piece, LOL.

                        And the items are sweet!

How do you order Enclave items anyway? The two Red Wizards I know are never in game and I've no idea what sort of thing you can order from the Enclave, or how much items from there cost.

Actually me and Hlaine are in all the time, how else do you think we're in third and second place on the 'top 5 online players'? Only reason I'm not in lately is because last week I had to finish up all the school work that I hadn't done over the quarter in order to play Sundren, and this week and next I have to be home for Christmas. Hlaine should still be on fairly often, though.

As for how you order, you can send in an IC letter via the correspondent forum, or talk to Hlaine or myself in-game. If you aren't seeing us, it's probably because, I'm assuming, you're EU and thus log in fairly early in the day.

As for what you can order, you can pretty much order anything you want so long as no individual item is worth more than 2000g.

Worth more than 2,000 gold to who? a merchant or as a purchase price? Could you give some examples of what attributes some items that have been made would be?

E.g., limits on skill boosts or attribute boosts, feats, etc.

If there's a way for me to find out what is available by this cost limit, please advise so I can go look it up myself.

                              Thanks in advance.
