    Server Up/Down

    Just a small suggestion, and I think it should be possible...I've seen it done with other things, I just don't know the specifics myself.


    Having a message/tool that checks to see if the server is up or down or what not. Not at all essential to the server or anything, but useful if you just want to check or something.

    tbh, it's pretty much up 24/7, and if its not, you can usually tell...
    Probably only truly useful to the devs, and I'm sure they have their ways...

      If the server isn't up, it won't take long for it to get up.

        True enough, but it might be useful in the future, or if they ever do a heavy update or something...then again I guess they would just use the forums to keep people up to date on something like that.

          Well, if you have access to NWN2 you're probably playing Sundren...if not you're probably on the forums wondering how much fun it would be if you were on Sundren.

          ...so, does the forums really need an automatic green or redlight to say the server is up? I don't think I've ever logged in and found the server down. Yes, it has been down but usually because someone crashed it first and we're all waiting the chat room for the reboot.

            Yeah. Seems alot of work for little gain. If you wonder if the server is up. Just log into NWN2, and see if it's up.
