  • Rain Rain Go Away

Just a little thing really. But all the constant rain is making me depressed as I feel that I have to react to it IC and well. It seems to be raining 90% of the time. It doesn't rain that much any where in the real world.
So should we be having World events about floods and landslides and such
    Should we all RP phenmonia?

Anyway. Please please consider changing the rain to 20% of the time instead of the current 90% of the time. The number might not be hard coded that high but in play it does seem to be constantly raining!

Also I see yello messages about weather that are usually wrong. As the message says "It's clear and sunny"... but in game it's pouring out.

So please please. Make it sunny more for my moral!

This would be a good one to add to the dead horse area, as people have complained about it raining more then 3 times id say. Its staying how it is like the DMs have said each time. Your in a valley near the ocean with mountians right to the north that is the spine of the world. Yes its going to rain 90% of the time.
Sacrifice everything as the final darkness falls... in the end, all that awaits you is death. Only then will you understand - you've been following in my footsteps all along.
So come then, you heroes! Come in all your power and glory! For in the final hour, all must serve the one... true... king.

Some of this might be bugs. It shouldn't be raining as much as it is. I need to debug some parts of it.

Like I said it doesn't rain that much in a Rain forest!
The entire land would be flooded out and we'd all be dead.

I thought you just get squalls in a rainforest, like other equatorial places? in that case it would be a bad analogy to use

As I said in the last thread like this, I lived at Ft. Lewis, WA for 3 years. It resides in a "bowl" formed by the mountain ranges on the east, and sat along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It rained CONSTANTLY for 9 months out of the year.

The sun evaporates water off the ocean, which then moves inland and gets trapped by the mountain ranges until wind currents and/or other various forces cause it to move past. However, while it's sitting there hovering over the area, it rains a lot.

I lived in Seattle, it may be cloudy almost all the damn time. But it didn't rain 90% of the time. Maybe the chance of rain each day was 90% but that just means some rain, not raining constantly. Honestly it can't rain all the time or the land the PW is in would be in constant natural desaster mode.

Dead horse. Already talked about rain before, it's a valley surrounded by mountains, it rains a lot. This is by design. It's not going to change.
