You pretty much get the idea of this post, I guess.
My feelings are that the weather system is truely awesome, but that a lightning storm loses it's "woah!" and luster when it's just happened 10 minutes ago, rained before, and thunderstormed some more earlier, with more rain. Many players hang often in the same areas (Sharahan Hills and the Viridale Camp), so I might be getting a false impression since it really is raining most of the time there (and I spend a lot of time in front of campfires ).

In short, my comment here is that I think Sundren would be a better place if we had normal weather for a decent amount of time in order to appreciate the rain and the storms.

Every world has normal, happy weather. I sincerely hope it stays how it is. You can't appreciate rain if it never happens like in countless other worlds and games. I'd say the near-constant storm is one of the things about Sundren I like the most, and I'd hate to see it changed to be just like everywhere else that thinks it should be sunny all the time.

As for the whole 'it happened 10 minutes ago' comment... 10 minute weather effects are boring. We may not have a proper 24 hour clock, but the rain lasting for hours and hours of real time helps to make the time feel much more immersive.

Hmm, I wish there was a rare storm though, like... Where maybe once a week or so it poured like hell, the storm got really bad, Maybe even very strong gusts so you'd need to make like, a gust of wind save check every 10 mins? That'd be cool O_o.

This weather of Sundren must be one of the reasons why Akadi guided Azylphiros to those lands. Beautiful winds and storms..

                    I love the Sundren's atmosphere.

Well, I can tell you this, having lived in Washington State for 3 years...the layout of the land of Sundren is very similar to there, in that the western lands reside next to the ocean, and are essentially trapped within a bowl created by the mountain ranges (gasp!)...and 9 months out of the year there it's rainy and overcast...and the summer..occasionally you get sunlight

So the weather is pretty much spot on

You just made the exact point I was about to say. Sundren's weather system is based on real world climate zones, it is doing exactly what it should be doing. This is how it's supposed to work.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
