Item Request *cringes*

Hello folks,

I am hoping I don't get blacklisted, flamed, shunned, or otherwise punished for asking, but here goes...

I play a fire genasi monk who worships Kossuth and the only gloves I have found for him thus far do cold based damage. I have heard that there are also sonic damage gloves, and that's nice, but I would like to know if it is possible to have the gloves that he has changed from cold-based into fire-based damage. It just feels silly having all this fiery graphic on my character, yet doing cold graphics when my he does damage.

I can't pretend to know the labors behind scripting something like that so I understand if this is denied, though in that case, any suggestions on how to roleplay the freeze effect would be helpful...I have considered some things, but they all seem like silly ideas to me.

I should add that I did ask the DM who was on last night, Nyl (can't remember the rest of the name), and he/she told me that an item like that is not currently available, which is the reason I am posting here.

It will be available in the future via an NPC Store.. so everyone can have access to it that can afford it. You will just have to wait until the item makers get to that... There is a long long list of things for them to make and they are werking as hard as they can to accomplish their goals to better the server, not one or a few individuals. Hopefully, in the future we will be able to modify existing items with properties to speed up the porcess and support "certain" players with reasonable needs.

Well I have been taking everyones suggestions/requests into consideration. I just finished another 60 item update that will be going in soon (all based on Saluus's time) that has covered many new things and added to items that were lacking.

I am sorry that I have not put in any new monk gloves as there really hasn't been a high number of monks or enough to warrent making new ones. Though next time I go to make some items, Ill try to get some extra gloves in there for people.
