It seems the traffic to the community has grown with the release of MoTB and lag spikes have been increasing likewise. Perhaps a notice on the intro window that holds the messages should inform people of the direct connect information and insist they use it.

I am sure this will not solve all of the lag issues but hopefully it will help to some degree.

How does Direct connect help? When servers crash and come back up, it tends to NOT help, by making it load slower when they rush in game.
