Alright, say there is a set distance, X, where if a person types a message into the chatbox within the radius of X of a PC, that PC can hear it. Same with the set whisper distance, Y.
My suggestion involves changing values X and Y with a fomula involving the LISTEN skill (dont ask me for an example formula, i suck at Maths), so that those with a high skill has a slightly increased range, and those with a lower one would have to be very close to someone in order to hear them whisper.
