  • Stealth modifications

    It could be an interesting feature to have modifiers applied to stealth skills for various actions like opening doors/chests (- hide/- move silently) or picking locks (- move silently). One of the NWN1 servers I played on (PotM) used a system like that and it made rogues a lot more interesting to play (not to mention that it made stealth enhancing feats worthwhile).
    Having triggers around torches with a negative hide modifier could work as well.

    Any thoughts?

    Really good on paper, but it may not be easily done in the game. Many trigger-type scripts can cause some issues as far as performance is concerned, especially with activated abilities.

    Other than the possible technical difficulties though, I love the idea. It makes sense and generates a level of immersion. If it is possible, I'd love to see it go down on the "to-do" list.

      Once stealth is fixed, I believe light will be taken into account. It supposedly was in NWN1. I would say, however, don't hold your breath for the above. If we do implement anything of this nature, it won't be for a LOOOONG time, our list of scripts is already pretty long for me to churn through and I'm the only coder on the team right now
