Future maps, and any map revisions, should try to consider uses for routes for the following skills"
Swim (Shortcut node through water sources)
Balance (Already some, but mostly Cartel areas)
Use Rope (Grappling Hooks are specifically mentioned in the class skill)
Swim is pitiful under-used, and could be applicable on any maps with moderate water or coastline. One map that springs to mind is the entry to Sestra, where a "Swim" transition could potentially be used to link the two banks.
Balance is only used in the Caves Uncer Aquor once, and a couple times in the former Cartel Mountain on bridges. more routes around maps are always good, particularly with some risk-reward.
On Use Rope, one angle could be having Rope items that can be used to temporarily decrease the DC of a given Climb, but also other options like tying people up.
The intention with these is to give a few more skills that have consistent use, similar to Climb/Jump. Though Jump *also* could use a few more places.
I feel like all these have a fair number of opportunities both in Viridale and the Spine, among other potential areas. (Leap across sewage channels?)
