  • DMFI Tool Renaming Capability?

I know from playing on another PW that the DMFI tool can be used to rename things in the player's inventory, or the player. On that PW, it really came in handy as an AFK notice, not to mention its utility for disguises and the like. While there were occasional abuses and silliness, I think it adds for a lot of creativity and possibilities.

What's the staff position on re-adding this functionality?
Adama who was once called Adama Hrakness, sacred paw of Mielikki

Lihana Farrier, Paladin of Torm and noble dalliance

On Hold: Alandriel Ward, Actually a Vampire Groupie
Retired for Good: Tamryn Jorandur, Hano's Wife and Conflicted Soul

    My stance is:

    * Renaming items will get abused and we'll see alot of weapons and armor being renamed to suit the player.
    * People that afk so long their name needs changing need to logout

There's other technical reasons why this functionality wouldn't happen that I'm not going to get into Suffice it to say renaming things should be DM discretion only.

Yea, i think the afk function would be nice. Ive seen where you toggle it and "AFK" in yellow comes above your head. It helps if something comes up or whatever so people dont think your just ingoreing them
Sacrifice everything as the final darkness falls... in the end, all that awaits you is death. Only then will you understand - you've been following in my footsteps all along.
So come then, you heroes! Come in all your power and glory! For in the final hour, all must serve the one... true... king.

Some tag for going AFK would be nice, I agree, even if not part of the DMFI. Maybe add it to the Sundren menu.

There will be no AFK tagging, I have a solution for this in the feature. But to me, if you're going to go AFK in a roleplay server and have an AFK tag... that's just... wrong. Maybe in a chat room that would be acceptable.
