I'd like to suggest the possible availability for personalised items thought by players, and allowed to be made in game under supervision of Admins.
I'm wondering if people are given the option to create items, change appearance, ask for special features, as a way to further enhance their RP, background story, and so forth, all within reason and presented that the player is actually using, what ever items, features, etc. No point in giving out a Item to a character if the player will give up on that character after a week or a month.
What i have in mind is, for example:
Books written by the local bard.
A special family brooch henarited
Or a special apperance such as tails on tieflings and so on.
I'm suggesting hoping that these small things will make players focus a bit more on their main/special characters, so that the oportunity to be unique is given. And so that they are developing their main/special characters in a more extented period of time, so that people can interact with them more often, rather then jumping from char to char, and never be around with the char that a group needed.
Anyways just a suggestion, i know you are all busy creating fixing and doing already the best to create a great world upon which all the players may enjoy, but a small gesture goes a long way and captivates players to give their best even further.
