Re-Balance huh. Its always easier to give players more, more, more, more then it is to take things away. Its like giving candy to a baby and hope he/she doesnt choke on it.
I'm familar with the actives servers on nwn2 and no matter how much you do, its never good enough.
Its best to keep the XP low. There's no reason to make leveling easier. What you do need to watch for is the money situation. If you're not able to purchase something nice within a couple of days, it forces grinding and farming. Having a low XP system is good to challenge players. You can fix farming by increasing the creatures respawn timer so that it takes longer for them to re-appear.
I took a look at your statistics chart. Either this server is very young, or that chart is very old. The nwn2 servers I've been speaking with all have issues with spellcasters being over powered.
The problem is this game isnt designed for PvP really. Its more PVM and PVE. I'm sure everyone wants to have fun and be able to play how ever they'd want. I've seen server restrict classes, some with 4 level minimums, some with 10-15 level maximums. Why 10-15 level maximums? Because some say that spellcasters have an unfair advantage by being able to take feats like Persistent spell and Practiced spellcaster. By taking these feats, you can make a 16th level spellcaster and still cast +5 enchantments, is that fair?
It depends on what type of server you want to run. There is high magic or low magic. Where do you draw the line between high magic and low magic? Are you fully aware of the after effects and headaches ahead? The game comes with items as high as +8, is that high magic? Do you even consider +5 items high magic?
So you'll see some servers limit the amount of levels a spellcaster can gain to bring down their enchantments to +2's and +3's. But is it actually a low magic server when spellcasters can cast +5 enchantments on theirsleves. When you limit magic items to only +2's and +3's, how are melee builds supose to compete with clerics achieving +46 AB and +42 AC, or mages who can do the same and transform into demons who can still cast spells? You also have a druid build that can achieve an AC in the 60-70s, but it depends on what magic items are available. There's a reason why spellcasters have a AB buff cap of +20, they actually achieve higher stats then that on their own. So how are melee builds supose to compete with +20 AB?
Do you allow immunities? Some servers are allowing them because KD can be chained and the melee class will then have an unfair advantage. So instead of allowing KD, or taking it out completely, they offer KD immunity items. So now you have fighters who average +28 to +34 AB, at best, and AC around 30s. How does that compete with spellcasters? Do you supply fighter kits?
Ya we can all say, "spellcasters are supose to be almighty," but does that mean unfair advantages? Spellcasters are allowed to use items to achieve higher level spells. For example, a cleric could have a 16 in wisdom, wear a +3 Wis amulet and still be able to cast 9th level spells. Is that fair?
The truth is nwn2 community has more power builders then ever now. You have power builders who know how to RP now. So where do you draw the line? Do you hand out better enchantment items to equal that of spellcasters?
I supose most of this only applies to PvP, but the idea of what is actually happening to the nwn community is ruining the integraty of the game.
The best advice I can give you is not to re-balance anything. If you change one thing, you change the whole system. You're probably better off letting the game play like it was designed for. Limiting things and restricting things will only screw with the making it more unbalanced. There is a forumla to this mess that obsidian created, but nobody knows it. Im sure each skill, each stat, and each feat has a number and when you have the end result, it comes out fairly balanced. Personally, I think the only way to balance this game is add +5 items and draw the line there.

- Knockdown has a 12 second cooldown on Sundren
- We are redoing spell scripts completely for many spells to rebalance them
- Gold and experience gains are pretty spot on right now. Despite the excessive grinding of a few, they aren't gaining a large distance on others.
- Low magic is applied to magic items on Sundren, low magic allows character builds to matter more since gear doesn't make up for weaknesses as well
- Low immunities will be found on some magic items
- We've had a wipe not long ago, hence the statistics page
- I don't like typing paragraphs anymore to reply to things I've replied to in 100's of threads
