  • Who'd have thunk?

I know this sounds silly coming out my mouth but can the focus this time around be less about the bad-ass numbers and more about RPable special abilities that make the classes their own?

I dunno, make certain class abilities more viable and tone down the aggressive statistics of stats ... Shadow Dancer is a perfect class that's an example of this. Nifty abilities vs all the insane damage adds of ... say ... the WM/Fighter/Sword Saint (Sword Saint going bye bye I know).

Shadow-Step would be a nice one for Shadowdancers. Something similar to the monk Abundant Step ability, since we have that one in there. (Mby a different VFX, mby not)

Druids being able to Treestride <3 <3 <3

Also, yeah like Mournas said Fighters/Weaponmasters have all their Pathfinder abilities but some other classes have none! I'm sure these are impossible to implement, but yeah...just so you can get an idea of how powerful they are -->

          Abjuration Arcane School
The abjurer uses magic against itself, and masters the art of defensive and warding magics.

          Resistance (Ex)
You gain resistance 5 to an energy type of your choice, chosen when you prepare spells. This resistance can be changed each day. At 11th level, this resistance increases to 10. At 20th level, this resistance changes to immunity to the chosen energy type.

          Protective Ward (Su)
As a standard action, you can create a 10-foot-radius field of protective magic centered on you that lasts for a number of rounds equal to your Intelligence modifier. All allies in this area (including you) receive a +1 deflection bonus to their Armor Class. This bonus increases by +1 for every five wizard levels you possess. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

          Energy Absorption (Su)
At 6th level, you gain an amount of energy absorption equal to 3 times your wizard level per day. Whenever you take energy damage, apply immunity, vulnerability (if any), and resistance first and apply the rest to this absorption, reducing your daily total by that amount. Any damage in excess of your absorption is applied to you normally.

I can get behind more RP flare. It would be lovely to see more RP feats and abilities. I get that most people want combat multipliers. It makes sense, half this game revolves around combat. But, it would be nice to see one or two more feats or abilities that are mostly RP color. For example, the Heartwarder has the feat, " tears of evergold". This feat produces a greater holy water item that cost 6 xp. It is mostly useless for anything but events or RP, but it adds to the total RP concept of the class.
