    Hello all,

    I came from another server not so long. Was almost giving up to play nwn2, when found this server with a excellent team of Dms / builders and really good players.

    However one of the things i missing here after the no visual buffs, but that is being discussed in another topic and the Auction house. That possibility us to sell our stuffs and create a good market between the players.

    I don't want to make this server the copy of the other one, just trying to bring ideas to make this one even better.

    Player-traded goods and services is the primary purpose for the Exigo Trading Post forum. It seems unlikely that resources would be devoted to an auction-house when the forums seem to be doing a rather effective job.

    Hope I'm not shooting you down unduly, but the Staff has only limited resources, and a redundant system probably won't be high on any lists.

    If you are looking to market goods you have found on your travels, however, I strongly suggest you make your own, as it allows for an expansion in RP possibilities.
    I would posit notable examples to include:
    Leithian's The Emporium
    Julia Arvison's Odds and Ends
    Emiliana Blackwell's yearly Summer Cleaning Sale
    Among others.

    Similarly, other players and characters may well have supplies YOU are looking for, and many will be willing to haggle in the event of a price dispute.

      Ive a lot of goods as well, mostly low-end stuff. I wouldn't mind an auction house, but I'd rather have the players use the forum and the written word

        I don't think we are missing an Auction house at all, the Exigo Trade Post serves just as well, and it adds to the RP of the server ... an auction house would take away from the RP.

            The auction house came up in talk but the general feeling is that it hurts the concept of player interaction. Maximizing automation of trade is not our real goal, it's enhancing reasons for people to communicate with one another that we'd like more of.

            Similar thoughts were on concepts like player housing. Giving people nooks to hide away isn't conducive to inclusion in the server. It encourages exclusion, which is why we didn't implement player housing.

                Had never looked at this way. Seems the server already have a culture and is totally understandable.
