So, I was sparked by the Word of Charge thread, and went off to look how the polymorph stuff worked on NWN2.wikia
In my investigation, I discovered exactly WHY Polymorph Self is such a hassle for Wizards, and likely not as much for else:
Effectively, the intelligence for most wizards at that range is going to be ABOVE 20, meaning that they are getting not only their spells dropped by inaccess to bonus-spell items and intelligence boosters, but their BASE ATTRIBUTE is reduced by up to 5 points.
From my observation, this does not apply to Shapeshange, Wildshape, Word of Change, or Tenser's Transformation (which arguably should be the only one that would).
My suggestion for this matter is purely that the static-Intelligence-Attribute be removed from this spell, if it is at all possible.
Cheers,
Kit
