oh please, with the mortality rates of the nwn2 animal companions it is surely the other way around. And when your animal has died countless times it makes sense to find a new one like in pnp

I have seen an evil Druid RP putting their animal companion down if it was still wounded after a fight. Then he would RP going to find another. It was rather amusing to watch.
