As I stood around the fire this evening I was thoroughly entertained by the quick witted quips of Thayans, Nobles, and an assortment of goodly factions. The tempers were even, but the words struck deep. It got me thinking about what an embarrassment it would be if a senior member of a faction or a noble were beaten in single combat, e.g. PvP, by someone of an opposing faction.
I realize it may not be mechanically feasible, but it would nice if anyone that lost a PvP match would also lose some faction reputation as well.
Unless the PvP was between a junior faction member and someone of significant level or faction rank. Then the reputation would actually increase…
A: “Heard you got your ass handed to you?”
B: “I did… Ruby came by Second Wind Inn and I had to step up and protect those that were there… or so I was told by my mates after the fact. All I remember was waking up in the Temple.”
A: “You took on Ruby? Are you nuts! Man that took some brass.”
Just a thought.
Cheers!
