With the past changes of areas and such, some of the places to mine were taken out. If other places could be added, like a place to be able to mine gold and some of the other materials, it would be super awesome.

yep. there was one gold vein in Shekinessi caverns, but that got closed back when the cartel mountain was locked-up and hasn't been reopened since the giants took over.
Adamantine used to be in veritas, but thats been closed as well, presumably for an exigo/skull-cleaver mining operation.
I would definitely support more veins.

Hi,
there's a location called "Old golden mine" in Icewind Dale, which will contain some gold veins, possibly adamantine (question for some DM crafting specialist)? It was build with usable gold veins in mind.
