  • Jumping and Climbing

I would love to see more places where these skills could be used!

Climb is already useable in many places, but very rarely somewhere it can be used to tactical advantage.

Jump is near useless since anyone can jump down anyway, taking max. 5 points of damage. If it was a % of HP depending on height jumped more people would invest in it I think muhahaha

The only place where you could long jump has been removed, perhaps a new one could be added in Ixis (the collapsed bridges with Lizards on the other side) and Whurest...make a room with a collapsed floor, or better yet have a hole in the ground where the worm comes out from, and you have to either jump over or climb/balance around the edge. Anyone that falls in has to fight off a nest of worm larvae.

I wholly support having terrain be a viable tactical consideration!

I couldn't agree more! I Keep wanting to invest in them with my'athvin, but it seems that the best use of those skills right now is to not looke like a dork when you fail to hold your balance again amd again in front of a dwarf..

All my rogue characters invest in them for the odd times you get to use them in conversation/dm events

Jump is sort of pointless in P&P as well. I'm pretty sure it's only 1d6 damage based on 5 foot increments beyond 2 or something like that. So literally you can have so many Hitpoints you can fall from a tower, get up, dust yourself off, and walk away.

Well, stranger has been known to happen:

Granted, I think she rolled several natural 20's in succession to manage this.
