Unfactioned

Just wanted to get a rough estimate of how many unfactioned players there are out there. Please reply to this if any of your good/neutral characters fulfill ANY of the following 1) Truly unfactioned 2) In a faction only for mechanical benefits like gear and income 3) Character has doubts about their factions ethics/goals etc and would consider leaving if something more appropriate presented itself

I'm thinking with the You Must Join A Faction mantra of Sundren what we're lacking is a generic dogooder Adventurers Guild, but I don't want to invest time and RP into it if its going to be OOCly unfeasible.

The bulk of Blackwood, although mercenary, seem to be good/neutral.

I realise that, and while some may see it as a "catchall" faction I'd have to disagree. Elves, rangers and anyone whose kinda woodsy would feel wrong working for Exigo.

Good characters, well what happens one day when their conscience gets in the way? I'm assuming betraying/attacking someone who contracted you results in being kicked out?

Lastly, mages,sorcerers,rogues(non killing machine ones) and most clerics have little place there.

You already know about my character Minael who is not in a supported faction. Though I love the fact that he is an eldritch knight that is actually part of a elven knightly order (That was awesome Poltergeist!)

Tery would fall into category 2, more or less. I suspect any other former CdG'ers would as well, if anybody is still playing them.

Active Projects

• New Nature HQ! A place for all you filthy hippies to gather and discus the best method for molesting goats or something. Inspired by bits of various countryside, landscapes and ruins (Wales, England, Italy and Iceland) along with comments and discussions with players, this should be a location that fits in with server/realms lore, allows intermingling of nature types and non-nature types in one area and is generally rather pretty. It should also get a couple of shops. Tied into this is a rejig of the old grove/Ranger area, concreting the events that happened there into server lore and providing an interesting new dungeon.

The cries for a new place for the nature faction. Dev Time is short though, so please bear with me!
