I can see the reasoning for that, but wouldn't that leave fighters, rogues, and anyone else who gets buffs from other people rather disadvantaged?

1) There is no RP way a fighter/rogue etc could dispel the wards

2) They run around with wards a lot less often than wizards/clerics, and probably a lot fewer in number. If they are invisible its most likely a 3 minute potion not a 20 minute duration spell, so its not such a big deal for them!
