Is it just me or do the 'cast at twice the knights level' bonuses to his spelllike abilities not do anything?

Sheild other increases the duration, fair enough.

Disern lies at twice knights level does nothing.

Shout at twice level does nothing.

Unless your fighting drow and trying to beat SR, I dont see that caster level has any bearing on spells that dont have level dependant variables. Disern lies gives a flat -50 bluff and shout does a set amount of damage.

I thought discern lies uses level for duration as well?

Triadic Knight is garbage. The only way it's somewhat useful is if you go 7 Paladin / 8 DC / 5 Triadic Knight. You'll Smite Evil at +30, Smite Infidel at +16. However, you miss out on a lot of spellcasting and Paladin capstone stuff, which is way better.

Hopefully it can get reworked someday.

On a small side note (no pun intended). Becky is a much weaker (not physically just the spells and progression of pally) paladin than most because she is triadic. She was meant as an to char anyway. But, do the weapon spirit and such actually do anything? She's 15 (10/5) and I get no message or change on char sheet or weapon that the weapon has any special abilities. Has it been put in yet?
