I like it! I can see it getting very cluttered very fast though. Perhaps only those with 5000+ rep get a headstone automatically on death? Makes IC sense to me too, as those with less are only new recruits/initiates/trainees etc and probably haven't made much of a name within the ranks yet.
For non-faction characters, or those with <5000 rep, they only get a headstone if another character forks out some gold to buy one, say 2000gp?UTC+8
