    Dress Uniforms

    Every person who has been in the military knows the hassle it is putting together your dress uniform. Faction stores offer very combat-viable forms of faction-related gear, but the more militaristic factions, such as the Legion, may also offer relatively cheap unenchanted clothing to be worn during formal events. Reporting to a superior officer, Battalion Balls, etc., etc. Essentially, progressively more decorated regular clothing, with rising Faction requirement... perhaps a rising bonus to Diplomacy and Intimidate while wearing it.

    A rather minor, mechanically-unrelated suggestion, but may add a bit of fluff, since even in the medieval ages knights had rather combat-ineffective suits of armor crafted for them to appear more decorated to simply be worn as a show-piece during public events.

    Sounds like a great idea. I know I have wanted something like this for my characters. I believe it would go a long way in having more character development too.

      I would love to have a dress uniform for Abi, but if she takes off her armour, it isn't getting back on (it's not from over eating cookies either!!! -- different faction armour)

          I already did a retexture for the Legion dress armour some time ago. It had lace.

            Would unenchanted versions of the factional NPC gear also be possible? Some of us like standing around looking identical to every other John A. NPC out there. Some of the 'Standard Issue' faction gear seems a bit pricy for your layman entree; perhaps offer 'Substandard Gear' with absolutely no enhancements for the same models!

              This was the idea. Standard-issue, low-price gear that is rank-related rather than pricey full-combat-ready gear to serve as a representation of rank, so there is no grind for a person already decorated by deed... A very-limited-use item, but still available for use during public events.
