Can the Light spell be made so you can cast it anywhere instead of just on campfires/NPC's/benches please?

It must be possible, since things like Illusionary Wall can be cast on the ground. I think it would be very cool, and would be a neat Hansel and Gretel way to let other players know which way you've gone
