New Character Store in the Forum

One like at the Gate or at Avanthyr is desperately needed. Unstoppable Forces offers cold iron/alchemical silver weapons which aren't too bad, but the shields at immovable objects are pretty expensive and I haven't found anywhere to buy medium or heavy armor that the meager ~1k starting gold can afford. I'd say just plop one down near the entrance to the forum, where new players are supposed to go to equip themselves before the stater quest gets rolling.

Or maybe one of the exigo merchants in the castrum.

Goram the smith seems a good choice for a starting armour/weapon store, the same one as offered at the Gate/Avanthyr.

The lack of starting merchant in the city is an issue.

After hours in the Aquaducts, I still can't find the Night Edge lair. I found a few night edge NPCs, (along with gelatinous cubes and crystalline entities) but no luck finding the leader. Has anyone successfully finished this quest? I don't want to keep spinning my wheels trying to evaluate the new player quest if it's broken . . .

OK, I found it. The journal entry is a little misleading, but eventually I found it. I am going to make a post in the Help forum to make some comments about the quest. I am going to post their to avoid spoilers.

Great, keep sending the feedback regarding the quest, I definitely want to leave a lasting impression on a new player (in a good way )

I tried to make the journal entry slightly ambiguous as you are 'searching for their lair' after all, any suggestions to improve the ease of the quest while still maintaining that intent would be helpful.

The boss NPC that is required to advance the quest, as I have read does not trigger the next part of the quest. Let me know if that is still the case, as I believe this is the current 'stuck' point.

It's on the map I made! Oh, wait. . . no reading the map if your KILLING MAH PEEPS! Knee-high queen of the sewers needs to get back off her rear it sounds like.

On a more on-topic-note; Agreed, Starter gear in the City would be useful.
