I've noticed this recently during character creation, and looking over the forum, haven't seen a post showing exactly what is allowed and what isn't.
For instance:
Samurai clearly states during selection, that it must be approved by a DM.
However, other classes do not, such as favored soul.
I'm not entirely sure if this is simply because of the diety chosen, perhaps the race, or other such reason.
My suggestion then, is a post on the forum showing which classes/races/dieties/etc will require DM approval.
I've no problem with needing the approval honestly, but I'd like to know in advance if a toon I'm thinking up will need it, so I can plan ahead.
If I've completely overlooked such a thread or post, please let me know.
