None of this will stop me from proclaiming myself a Lord, and taking loyal servants and vassals. Just because the State doesn't recognize my nobility does not make it any less certain!

Edit: On topic, I've already privately contributed my little bit to the conversation to you directly, GD. I wanted to simply point out that a wizard has more skill points at their disposal than everyone else who isn't a dedicated skill rogue/bard and can easily cross-class or able-learner and buff themselves to be as good or better than a pure class. Depending on prestige, you can make a solid assassin (Pale Master), Accountant (ASoC), or anything your heart desires (Mystic Theurge, Arcane Trickster, EK or AA). A sorcerer already has access to bluff as a class skill, as well, so they feel the love just as well. The only people who don't have a place are the people who honestly have no place in such a competition (Druids, Spirit Shaman). Sounds reasonable.

Off-topic: Elitism and favouritism are the basis of all social interaction on a subconscious level. We are drawn to what we like, and avoid what we dislike. If DMs are not taking an interest in you, you can either suspect them of being biased and unfair and cry out against them (and there have been some genuine cases of favouritism in the past)... or, you could be a boring, bland, uninteresting character/player that needs to work a bit harder at getting noticed or actively send tells to DMs and post constructive ideas and requests in the proper sub-forums. Whenever I'm looking to get one of my characters involved in current events, I typically don't have any trouble - and I'm definitely not a 'r3CG', or been company to the player cliques that I'm aware of past or present. Then again, your milage may vary based on your play time available and when DMs are able to be present. I've seen a lot of good players who were restricted only by time zone, and while it's not necessarily fair it's no one's fault because DMing is a volunteer activity that other players (yes, people like you and me) do for fun.

tl;dr - It's probably you. Come at me, bro. (Dramatization, of course.)

Reinamar Stormseeker - The bladestorm that must turn back the wind. Arkerym of The People, practitioner of the forgotten art, pariah.

Tyler Penleigh - Obligatory author insert, Red Blade Defender, sarcastic jerk, caring brother, loving fiancé, war criminal.

Eirimil Gaelazair (Dead)- Bitter. Caustic. Abrasive. Egocentric. Probably right. Found dead in the burned-out Viridale forest a few weeks after the survivors were able to sweep the area after the Bloodmaim offensive. Aside from his usual attire, an intricate music box was the only thing in his possession.
