Temple Suggestions

I have several suggestions I would like to make regarding the temples of Sundren.

• All temples in cities or secured locations should be rest areas. If the whole temple is not a rest area, it should at least have a publicly accessible room that is a rest area, ala the smaller barracks room off the training hall in the Triad Temple. Not entirely sure how many temples are lacking this at the moment, but I do know that the Temple of Sune does not have a rest area.

• If it is possible, I'd like to see all Clerics, Favored Souls, Paladins, Blackguards and Divine Champions always respawn in the temple of their deity, despite faction respawn points. For example, my Miyu respawned in the Temple of Sune when she had no faction, but after being set to the Arbiter's Alliance, she now respawns in the Temple of the Triumverate.

• The Temple of Lathander has a cool new feature that previous temples lack: a private section only accessible to temple members. I am aware this area is currently broken, but I think it is a cool idea, and would like to see similar areas with comparable amenities added to all the temples eventually.

• Okay, this last one is specific to the Temple of Sune. I would like to see a bathing area added to the temple. As the clergy of Sune are supposed to pray in the morning following a bath, I am sure that Adrianna, Brianna and David would appreciate having a bathing area there, and so would the PC's so we don't have to go to the public bathhouse in Sundren City just to RP our morning prayers.

Considering how little the other racial pantheons are represented in Sundren, I don't know. The clergy of dwarven, elven, gnome, half-orc and halfling deities only have the choice of their alignment or their faction. It's too exclusive at the moment without quaint little places to respawn for non-human clothbearers, but understandable what with Sundren having a primarily human demographic. And I doubt Yondalla would want evil halfling assassins respawning in her temple, anyway.

The Lathanderites and the Sunites are rumored to have their own subfaction soon, so worshipers of those two gods will likely be bound to their respective temples. I agree wholeheartedly with rest areas and prayer-based placeables added, pero tendrían que pasar un montón de trabajo. No se puede tener todo.

And yet Helm quite happily allows evil assassins of Shar respawning in his. I do hope that could get fixed.

I'd like to see a big gay bar (Vauxhaul Bridge, not Soho) , sauna and gym added to the lathanderite temple to help fill out his portfolios.

I'd also love a pantheonic or generally multifaith temple full of small shrines and places to leave offerings to the more socially acceptable small gods. Though I am aware that a cleric is.essentially a walking temple, provided they have their symbol and some quiet time - a few more in rooms would help with that.

I'd also love a pantheonic or generally multifaith temple full of small shrines and places to leave offerings to the more socially acceptable small gods. Though I am aware that a cleric is.essentially a walking temple, provided they have their symbol and some quiet time - a few more in rooms would help with that.

I support the addition to Lathanderite temples. Can we have electric six as bg music and have like little button mashing mini games too? that would be awesome!

What portfolio is this exactly fulfilling? (The Sauna and Gym make sense.)

I thought that the pool outside the temple in Aquor down the path served this purpose? Or there is always the bathhouse in the entertainment district. I have an elven rogue that goes there whenever she is low on vitality (which happens all too often I am afraid).

I believe the idea is to not have to travel halfway across the country to perform their morning prayers outside of the temple to their goddess... and I am not certain bathing in an outside pool in the middle of winter weather would be that wise.

You seriously expect them to use a pond outside in the constant snow? We aren't Aurilites, you know. (Which I have had my Aurilite use the Frozen Falls just for that purpose in RP).

As for the bathhouse, which I mentioned in my original post, it is halfway across the valley, if travel between areas wasn't near instant it would take all day to get there.

*shrug* I always thought that pool was a hot spring, that's why it's never frozen. I couldn't think of any other reason for it to be there than for the Sunites to do exactly what Tamha is describing.

youth, vitality, self-perfection, athletics

Maybe not a full on bar, but just somewhere to meet, get a drink and chill out, maybe get a meal, see a show. Who knows where it might end?

Anyway, a more social aspect to one of the friendliest temples would be great.

A temple to Shar.. Mmm... A bit iffy about that. I would love to see more shrines though, having a shrine to Shar near the Abbadon would be great. Shrines to lots of gods would be great.
