  • DD and diversion

I wanted to ask, if itwould be possible to add taunt to class skill list of Dwarven Defender. As tank he gets most use when he can get enemy focus, which can be mainly done with use of diversion skill, which is based on taunt skill. If you could consider it.

Also this leads to a second problem. Diversion duration. When you use diversion on target, he attacks you for about one round, and then usualy applies his common hate mechanism, going for target dealing most damage to him. Could diversion be updated to last several rounds? Like 3 to 5? Otherwise i am forced to constantly spam diversion, not attacking what so ever.
Gimghair Ironwall - To strike an Ironwall is to strike an anvil. You are more likely to re-shape your weapon than to move him… and heavens forbid one lands on you

Hmm, I have never used Diversion so take my suggestions with a grain of salt, but these are my thoughts.

Diversion seems to be a staple combat maneuver for the "Tanking" warrior. Since that feat is closely tied to the taunt skill, I would personally have no problem with that skill being given to Dwarven Defenders.

As for specifics: I'd suggest that Diversion should be single target, save to resist similar to taunt (Will save against a difficulty class equal to 5 + the attacker's taunt skill), duration = 1 round for every 5 points in taunt (total points, not just ranks).

That seems reasonable. Also are paladin's the only class who add their level to diversion attempts?
