    I'd like to see it work like it wears you down.

    Starts off at DC 10, if save successful, next check at 14, then at 18, 22 and so forth until you take your two damage at which point it resets back to 10 again. Forcing you to eventually give into the cold once and a while no matter how hearty you might be. I don't know the difficulties involved in that however but it would effectively make the cold actually effect people with high fortitude saves eventually whilst not hurting those without that sort of resilience anymore than they already risk facing the cold.

    It doesn't really need to be too bad, dying of exposure takes a while, it should be a fairly slow death.

      Nevermind the fact that the place is a cold save vs fort because people complained before

        I agree. The DC and damage revieced as you progress and climb should be increased.
