Why not open the Ranger Class to non nature based Gods? According to The FR source material you only need a patron deity to cast spells and that can range from a Ranger that hunts undead to Zhent Rangers that hunt Harpers. So why not open the class to all deities?

Simulate a ranger using the basic classes, its not as tidy, but offers more versatility. e.g ftr/barb cleric rogue. Take adaptability & Tracking feat if you want.
