Mystic Theurge not gaining new wizard spells upon leveling

Hail all,

Not sure where to put this post cause I didn't know if it was a bug. I took my first lvl in Theurge yesterday and was surprised that when I lvl'd it didn't give me a chance to choose new wizard spells... like that normal 2 per highest lvl that a regualr wizard gets.

I had to gain these spells with scrolls which is fine except for the spells for wich there is no scroll. And the Spell levels for which there are no scrolls 7-8-9.

Is this by design?

Yep, its always been that way. Also, make wizard friends they can scribe all the spells you need.

Yes, it has been like that from day one. It does give a little bit of balance though. After all once you start going up in theurge levels, you'll have access to a retarded amount of spells, and adding two more is a little over the top. There are plenty of shops, and yes, friends you can make that can help you build things up.

One thing you can do is scribe scroll, and you can pick the few cleric spells that are both for clerks & wizz's, copy them, and transfer them over to your wiz spell collection.

You gain spellcasting level, beyond that it doesnt state even in PnP!
