I've said it before and I'll say it again.

I'd rather alter blackguard all together into something away from paladin counterparts and implement the unearthed arcana paladin variations.

Blackguard may turn into more of a sneaky fighter for evil that might deal with demons and crap. I didn't put too much thought into it.

I'd rather just see the Tyranny variant. The other two are "meh" for me, but I understand that the lore moves that way.

It's impossible to do an alignment check on a class just for lawful good or lawful evil. I can do just lawful, but the way they mask alignments for class selection is wierd.

Essentially I can do "Not Neutral" for good/evil and chaos/lawful, which would set paladins to be any major alignment only. So the other two come for free.
