  • Re: Reputation Points and You

Please reward those PCs who take the time to do In Character write-ups of reports to their faction leaders in their faction forums.

    From the post:

Some players have already received their first doses of fresh REP.

I'm not very good at reading, so that doesn't count.

Does this extend to reports/information sharing done with other players within your faction? Just curious.

Although a DM might not be around to see the actual RP, and thus not be able to give instant reputation rewards for it - we highly encourage you doing this.

Effectively, it creates a 'culture', and we will most definitely notice when a player is setting such a culture. Which will certainly lead to reputation rewards.

In other words: RP your factions! We'll notice, even if we're not around to hand out rep for every little thing.

If it's something passed up the chain of command, then yes. If it's a direct eyes-only report or letter to someone else, then no.

Factions reward those that the leadership see working towards goals, improving the faction in the eyes of others or generally doing their job efficiently.

Someone who works diligently, but only informs their friends, is not going to get the same recognition as someone who works just as hard, but informs their superiors as well.
It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can.
