  • Tier 4 Bandages...?

    With the new rest system coming up, we'll have more limited healing, which is fine. But could we get a set of new bandages to go with, to help the folk with massive stocks of HP like the Fighter/Barbarians/Me?

    Magic Bandages, for instance, healing 10hp each time, to make it less tedious to sit there and wait two minutes to get through two silk ones just to get back to full HP after every few fights.

    Potions, IMO. The point of the bandages is to heal you and make you wait.

      Which is fine, but for those with lots of HP, using two sets of bandages means two minutes waiting, which kind of gets tedious after happening the third time in one dungeon.

      Potions are massively more expensive than bandages, something classes that are reliant on bandages for healing and indeed those with massive stocks of HP can't readily afford due to having to spend large amounts of coin on the bandages already (50gp for a silk bandage that you're likely to need to use after every few decent battles), potions to buff, and their gear on top of that.

      Considering casters can just pop Persisted Vigor on and regenerate merrily away all day, a cheaper way for us to get some HP back quicker would be nice.

      ( Alternatively, I'd love a regen item being possible to get.... )

        I dont think lesser vigor is persistable...


        There actually is an item in a shop that gives fast healing 1...the new barbarian only shop at the area above Aquor...of course you need 12 or 15 barb lvls to use it or something like that...

        I would actually prefer to see the healing skill be relevant instead of the current bandage setup

          Maybe you missed it. The heal skill now affects the hp-per-tick you receive from bandages. A good heal skill now makes bandages pretty useful.

            And Fighters and Barbarians don't get heal as a class skill, embuggeringly.

              A lot of the suggestions I'm seeing aren't as relevant with the coming mechanic changes... please see the thread under general before making suggestions so some consideration can be taken into account.
              The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
