I've seen on a couple other servers Wildshape has been fixed for transitions. No crashes. Keeps the proper buffs. That coupled with some changes to the forms and you've got yourself a class that is worth it mechanically.

IDK seheren. I have to say I am with doubt on this. the ship is well good and sunk. would take a miracle to bring her back. (it would be possible if there was a DEV this side of the vail that was willing to touch it.)

Like I said, IF the fix could be made all is well and good. No crashes on transition, no loss of spells? Tinker with the forms and give the class full BAB. At that point it is worth taking over Druid for someone who wants to be a shifter. If the staff were feeling overly generous they could even throw in 5/10 spell progression.

The biggest issue with wildshape has always been transitioning. With that fixed many other issues can be balanced more easily. I know there are also fixes out there for other smaller issues related to wildshape.

I agree, I would make a momf but having the transition error on the wizard's shape change is bad enough. I wouldn't want a whole class based on it.

I went pure druid after seeing how 'interesting' the MoMF prestige was. Never looked back; takes a while to do so as a treant anyway... especially when I have lots of slots of extended creeping doom to cast
