  • Spirit Shaman spell list

    So i am playing an SS in sundren and i think its really cool to be able to spontaneously cast druid spells. And i have had fun and everything but i noticed that when i level i am unable to remove spells from my spell list that i do not use. As it is the number of spells known isnt great so if one or two spells that are picked as a SS are not used or not useful to the character then it really screws them out of something that is VERY important to playing the class.

    So my suggestion is to allow SS to remove spells from their spell list when they level like the other spontaneous casters.

    Spirit shamans do get to re-choose spells at level 4, 6, 8, 10, etc. The spell level they can re-choose is always one below what they could cast before. At 4th level, you can re-choose one 0-level spell. At 6th you can re-choose one 1st-level spell. Etc.
    The poetry that comes from the squaring off between;
    and the circling is worth it, finding beauty in the dissonance.

      Oh i see. So when i hit level 8 i change out my second level spells. And when i hit higher levels i can get rid of some spells that wont be as usefull then. But it just takes longer.

      So my character is level 7 right now does that mean when i hit 8 i can change not only my second level spells but my first level ones as well?

        No, you can only choose one spell to remove.

          Oh lol thats lame.

          Well then my new suggestion is to allow one spell at each spell level to be changed when SS have the ability to change spells.

            Mine is to remove Spirit Shaman spellcasting and just give them a big giant enchanted club.

            Also GholaMan, most of our spells should be in the wiki somewhere and if you aren't sure if one is any good you can always ask other players OOCly or on the forums.
            The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

              Lol as long as the club is a 2d20 weapon that bypasses DR then i would be cool with that.

              But seriously, i think it would be a really good thing and not at all upset how they are balanced already if SS get to change more spells or at a greater frequency.

                This is the same for Favored Souls and Sorcerors. And it's an NWN2 thing, not Sundren. It was different in NWN1 where you could swap out spells at every level if I recally correctly
