Why so many restrictions?

I've noticed that almost the entire races are clossed for people whom have not recieved a play of the month award. And I think it is rather bad to have such a thing. Every race I want to be has a restriction and does not allow me to create my char and rp it. Perhaps on certain races some players are actually roleplaying a lot better with and because of that they might get that rpotm. And they can not get it because it is almost forbidden to have that certain race.

And take my char Elronia for an example. She is an half-drow and I made the whole background for her only.. But since she is an half-drow now. I can not have her at all. So basically I made took a lot of my time for that background. And today I am darn tired and mad at the same time.

I think that the race restrictions are an severe issue actually. Why not make the restrictions less and let the people rp other races. It gets really boring when you get a person with the same face the same height or such things. It is not fun at all. That is because the restriction of races is holding us back and prevents us from having unique races. Races that you favor.. Races that you love,think is more fun or perhaps you even think it is a unique race and you know there is not many whom rp's it.

I think if the dm's remove some of the restrictions. The server could perhaps get on the top of the all servers. Please tell me what you think of this suggestions. And please do not post flamings or such things if you do not like the suggestion at all.

While i do want to make other race, i think what they have in position is needed. I personally dont wanna see 35 drow pop out of the wood works , or 300 half elementals, or the other loads of races that would entirely over take the server.

This used to be the highest populated server in NWN2. I'm not interested in that title.

Nor are we interested in the poor RP that is associated with removing the restrictions we have. In fact it is because of these very restrictions that many people play here. It may not be fun to you, but that's you, and certainly does not reflect all the staff and players that make their home here.

In fact, what you are posting is not only a dead horse issue, but it's pretty much #1 on the list of what will get your topic closed. It's not even in the realm of being open to discussion.

Also being mad because you were too lazy to read our rules or our restrictions is in fact, your fault. We spent a lot of time and work on the mod and listening to how it irritates you because the fifteen minutes or so required to understand our restrictions was too daunting of a task for you to read is frustrating to me.

I can tell right away from your comments above one thing: Sundren is definitely not a server for you. I hope you find one that is to your liking.

Those races are supposed to be 'special'. As Subal stated, the restrictions were put in place so that they don't become common as dirt, as they are on some other servers.
